Every participating school was in charge of one form of renewable energy. One assignment was to make a short introduction video about the energy source at hand. The videos are collected below. 

In Turkey, the pupils learned about geothermal energy

In Romania, pupils got familiar with the working principle of hydro power plants.

Information of Bioenergy made by Finnish students

Bioenergy is energy derived from biomass which is biological material, for example plants, manure, wood, and alcohol fuels. It's a renewable and carbon neutral energy source. The following video about bioenergy is made by Noora Rauhala and Tiitus Keijonen from Mikkelin Lyseo.

Wind energy in Poland

In Poland, the energy theme was wind power. Pupils and teachers were given a chance to visit local wind power plants.

Solar energy in Northern Germany

Solar energy was the theme for the last of the five visits around European schools. Students had all kinds of fun and inspirational things to do during this trip: Solar car design contest, visiting solar park, and so on. Below you find a video from this week:
